MATTHEW HARRINGTON
On November 4, 1999 Matthew collapsed on the playground at school. Five weeks later it
was determined that Matthew had had a cerebral artery aneurysm, causing bleeding in his
brain. Matthew was initially transferred and stabilized at Wausau Hospital, then airlifted
to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where his 3½-month journey back to life began.
